About the position

The Long-Term Substitute Teacher for Special Education Math at Blackhawk Middle School will join a collaborative team dedicated to addressing the academic, social, and emotional needs of middle school students. This position is a 12-week assignment, focusing on developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and delivering engaging math lessons tailored to diverse learning styles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
• Create and deliver engaging math lessons tailored to various learning styles and abilities.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students, parents, and staff.
• Collaborate with other educators and specialists to support student success.

Requirements

• Professional Educators License
• Special Education Endorsement
• Previous teaching experience preferred
