About the position

The Special Education Mild/Moderate Teacher position for the 2024-2025 school year is designed for educators who are passionate about providing quality education to students with mild to moderate disabilities. The role involves creating an inclusive and culturally respectful learning environment that empowers all students to reach their full potential. The teacher will be responsible for developing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student, ensuring that they receive the support necessary to succeed academically and socially. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Accepting applications for Special Education Mild/Moderate credentials, Internship, Short-Term Staff permits, and Provisional Internship permits.
  • Submission of a cover letter, resume, two recent letters of reference, unofficial transcripts, and a copy of credential (if applicable).

Benefits

  • ONE-TIME Bonus of $7,500 for credentialed teachers, distributed over 3 years ($2,500 per year for 3 consecutive years).
