About the position

The Special Education Paraprofessional / RBT at Milagre Kids School is responsible for supporting and guiding students with Autism to achieve their educational goals. This full-time position involves working one-on-one with students in a motivating atmosphere, implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and fostering a positive learning environment. The role requires collaboration within a team-based approach using principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Verbal Behavior (VB).

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with students with Autism in both classroom and community settings.
• Implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students.
• Manage classroom behavior and foster a positive learning environment.
• Provide individualized instruction using principles of ABA/VB.
• Transport students in your vehicle as needed.

Requirements

• RBT Certification
• CPR Certification
• BCaBA or BCBA preferred
• Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field
• Minimum of 1 year experience working with individuals with Autism
• Valid driver's license
• First Aid Certification
• Strong communication skills

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
• Experience with Visual Basic
• Mentoring in BCBA, BCaBA, or RBT
