The Special Education Resource Paraprofessional position at Woodland Middle School is designed for individuals who are committed to supporting students with special needs. This role primarily involves working one-on-one with a student under the guidance of the Instructional/PPS staff, ensuring that the student can fully engage with the instructional program. The paraprofessional will assist in implementing the student's Individualized Education Program (IEP) and will be responsible for various tasks that facilitate the student's learning and development. The paraprofessional will play a crucial role in delivering special education services, which includes devising strategies to reinforce learning materials based on the student's unique needs and abilities.
