Epic Special Education Staffing is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher for the 2024 - 2025 school year in Gaffney, SC. This position is a full-time, on-site role that involves working with students in Pre-K and High School settings. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored educational experiences to students with diverse learning needs. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Assess and monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
  • Collaborate with other educators and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
  • Provide support and guidance to students in both academic and behavioral aspects.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and needs.
  • Participate in professional development and continuing education opportunities.

Requirements

  • 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as a Special Education Teacher within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum).
  • Valid Special Education Teacher credential/license or in process in the state of practice.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
