About the position

The Special Education Teacher - LBD (Learning and Behavior Disorders) at Logan County Schools is responsible for providing specialized instruction and support to students with learning and behavior challenges. This role involves developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student. The teacher will work closely with students, parents, and other educators to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic and social growth. In addition to direct instruction, the Special Education Teacher will assess student progress, modify teaching strategies, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that students receive the necessary resources and support. Requirements

  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and support staff.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
  • Experience with behavior management strategies.
  • Knowledge of assistive technology for special education.
