The position is for a Special Education Teacher specializing in Mild/Moderate disabilities. The candidate must possess a Special Education Mild to Moderate Credential or qualify for a permit. Additionally, an English Learner authorization is required, or the candidate must be eligible for an Emergency issuance of the document. Preference will be given to candidates with authorization for Autism. The teacher will be responsible for instructional assessment, planning, and lesson delivery, as well as managing all applicable special education paperwork, including assessment, interpretation, report writing, IEP development, and meetings. The role also involves attending district, department, and site meetings.
