About the position
The Special Education Teacher for Mild/Moderate RSP/SDC at Fontana Unified School District is responsible for providing specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities in middle and high school settings. This role involves developing individualized education plans (IEPs), collaborating with other educators and staff, and ensuring compliance with educational standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction to students with mild to moderate disabilities.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to facilitate inclusion.
- Monitor and assess student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student performance and needs.
Requirements
- Must hold an Autism authorization.
- Copy of Transcript showing conferral of degree.
- Credential Copy from CTC website.
- English Learner Authorization required.
- Three current letters of recommendation, with at least two dated within the last two years.
- Resume detailing relevant experience.
