About the position

BMR Health Services is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers for the upcoming school year 2024-25 in Pleasanton, CA. This position is focused on providing educational support to students with mild to moderate and moderate to severe disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to fostering their educational growth and development. As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student. You will work collaboratively with other educators, therapists, and parents to ensure that students receive the support they need to succeed academically and socially. In this role, you will also be responsible for assessing students' progress and adapting instructional methods to accommodate different learning styles. You will create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation. Additionally, you will provide guidance and support to students in developing their social skills and emotional well-being. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Active CA Education Specialist License or eligible to obtain.
  • Mild/Moderate or Mod to Severe Credential and/or ESCE credential.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
