The Multi-Needs Classroom Teacher position is a full-time role dedicated to providing specialized education to students with significant cognitive, medical, and/or physical needs. This position requires the teacher to develop comprehensive lesson plans tailored to the diverse needs of students across various grade levels. The teacher will be responsible for individualizing the curriculum to ensure that each student can achieve their maximum level of independence in all aspects of life. This includes adapting teaching methods and materials to meet the unique requirements of each student, as well as implementing necessary modifications to the curriculum. In addition to curriculum development, the teacher will be responsible for completing Individualized Education Program (IEP) paperwork and ensuring that the IEPs are implemented effectively. This involves collaborating with other educational professionals and support staff, including nursing services, to provide a holistic approach to education for students in the multi-needs program. The teacher will also perform other relevant duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success and well-being of the students in their care. The Multi-Needs program is designed to support students who require intensive therapy and modifications to their educational experience. The teacher will play a crucial role in fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes the growth and development of each student.
