Epic Special Education Staffing is partnering with an exceptional school district to find a dedicated Special Education Teacher for the 2024 - 2025 school year. This position is located in Rock Hill, South Carolina, and is designed for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special needs. As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student. You will work closely with students across various grade levels, including Kindergarten, Elementary School, Middle School, and High School, ensuring that they receive the support and resources necessary to thrive academically and socially. In this full-time role, you will engage with students in a classroom setting, providing instruction and support in a variety of subjects while fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. You will collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed. Responsibilities

  • Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.

Requirements

  • 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as a Special Education Teacher within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum).
  • Valid Special Education Teacher credential/license or in process in the state of practice.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
