This position is a full-time contract role, where you will be working on-site with students ranging from Kindergarten to High School. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Assess and monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
  • Collaborate with other educators and support staff to create a positive learning environment.
  • Provide instruction and support to students in various subjects and skills.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administration regarding student progress and needs.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge in special education.

Requirements

  • 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as a Special Education Teacher within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum).
  • Valid Special Education Teacher credential/license or in process in the state of practice.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
