As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing curricula and teaching strategies tailored to the needs of students with special education plans. You will actively involve parents in their children's educational journeys, organize and prepare the classroom environment for optimal learning, and teach and adapt lessons based on individual student needs and IEPs, including assessment administration. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement curricula and teaching strategies tailored to the needs of students with special education plans.
  • Actively involve parents in their children's educational journeys.
  • Organize and prepare the classroom environment for optimal learning.
  • Teach and adapt lessons based on individual student needs and IEPs, including assessment administration.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid teaching credential in Special Education from the CTC or be currently enrolled in a program leading to such a credential.
  • A B.A./B.S. degree is essential, with preference given to candidates with classroom experience.
  • Familiarity with online educational tools such as Microsoft Teams, Google Classroom, and Zoom is highly advantageous.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master degree preferred.
