Our mission is to provide unparalleled educational opportunities that foster scholarly thought, resilient learning, powerful communication, mind-body wellness, and community advocacy. We are committed to ensuring that all scholars, including those with disabilities, have equitable access to rigorous grade-level materials and the support they need to achieve their academic potential. You will engage in internalizing the curriculum, preparing daily lesson plans, instructional materials, and exit tickets aligned to rigorous college-ready standards. Additionally, you will welcome and incorporate feedback from school leaders and peer coaches to continuously improve your teaching practices. As a Special Education Teacher, you will manage a caseload of scholars with Individual Education Programs (IEPs), ensuring compliance and collaboration with team members to write and maintain IEPs. You will provide direct services to scholars in various settings, including resource labs and co-taught classes, while partnering with related service providers to ensure high-quality services for your students. Your role will also involve maintaining accurate records for attendance and coursework, submitting timely report cards, and upholding the values and standards of excellence set by Alliance College-Ready Public Schools.
