About the position

Quantum Education Professionals is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers for the upcoming 2024/2025 school year. This role is ideal for educators looking for either full-time or part-time opportunities. We focus on understanding the strengths and aspirations of our educators, allowing us to place them in various instructional models tailored to their skills and preferences. These models include co-teaching, resource pull-out services, self-contained classrooms, early childhood education, and behavioral intervention settings across all grade levels. Our service area encompasses schools throughout the Kansas City metro area, including Johnson County, Jackson County, Clay County, Wyandotte County, Cass County, Atchison County, and Leavenworth County. As a Quantum Special Education Teacher, you will enjoy a healthy work-life balance, free from the burden of unpaid work hours. We do not require binding teaching contracts, allowing you the freedom to choose your commitment to our organization. We offer career growth opportunities within Quantum, ensuring that you can advance your professional journey. Each educator is entitled to 10 PTO days per school year, with no blackout dates or designations for sick or personal leave. We also provide flexibility in employment status, accommodating full-time, part-time, or PRN arrangements to support your life circumstances. Additionally, there are potential opportunities for Extended School Year (ESY) work, which offers hourly pay on top of your salary. Our company culture emphasizes health, relationships, creativity, and growth, supported by experienced leaders who are ready to assist you. Our education professionals receive unparalleled support from company leadership, greater work flexibility, competitive pay, continued education reimbursement, and advocacy, leading to a more fulfilling professional experience than typically found in the education sector. We welcome applicants with SPED Certifications/Licensure in Missouri, Kansas, and other states. We are particularly interested in individuals who are passionate about student growth, eager to continue learning, and committed to making a meaningful impact in education. For new graduates or those in teaching degree programs, we offer a mentorship program designed to guide you through the initial stages of your teaching career, helping you develop the necessary skills to feel confident in your role.
