About the position

Epic Special Education Staffing is seeking a contract Special Education Teacher for the 2024 - 2025 school year, partnering with an exceptional school district. This full-time position is based on-site in Casa Grande, AZ, and focuses on providing specialized education to middle school students. The role offers a supportive environment with opportunities for professional growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction to middle school students with disabilities.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure student success.
• Monitor and assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding student needs and progress.

Requirements

• 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as a Special Education Teacher within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum).
• Valid Special Education Teacher credential/license or in process in the state of practice.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
