About the position

The Invo-Progressus Team is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers, affectionately referred to as Superheroes, to join our mission of providing exceptional educational opportunities for children in a charter school setting in Philadelphia, PA. As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering specialized instruction tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with special needs. This role requires a keen understanding of general special education testing concepts and methods, as well as the ability to diagnose and provide remediation for various types of learning disabilities. You will also play a crucial role in consulting with parents, providing them with resource information and materials regarding their children’s exceptional needs. Your personal commitment to driving positive outcomes for students will be essential in this role, as will your ability to collaborate effectively with parents, teachers, and school administrators. Experience working in schools is highly valued, as it equips you with the necessary skills to build strong relationships within the educational community.

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized instruction for students with special needs.

Requirements
