The Special Event Sales Manager will play a crucial role in planning, implementing, and managing special event sales for Snapdragon Stadium, aiming to maximize event bookings and revenue. This position is pivotal in positioning Snapdragon Stadium as the premier location for private and special events in the San Diego market. The role involves developing and executing sales and marketing plans to promote the venue, identifying and approaching new potential clients, and researching current market trends to increase event volume. The Special Event Sales Manager will also create and maintain relationships with local business leaders and sponsors, prepare proposals, conduct facility tours, and coordinate with various teams to ensure successful events. The position requires establishing sales goals, managing the department budget, and reporting sales results to the General Manager. Additionally, the manager will be responsible for venue contract initiation and financial reporting post-event, while also networking in regional areas to seek new business opportunities.
