About the position

The Special Finance Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of an automotive dealership, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive sales financing and dealership operations, along with proficiency in financial software to support the growth of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the financial operations of the dealership, including loan processing and title processing.
  • Negotiate financing terms with lenders to secure favorable loan agreements for customers.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to facilitate automotive sales transactions and ensure smooth contract execution.
  • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Utilize financial software to analyze data, prepare reports, and assist in budgeting processes.
  • Provide training and support to staff on financial procedures and best practices.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers, sales staff, and lenders to address any financing-related inquiries or issues.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in finance management or a related field, preferably within an automotive dealership environment.
  • Familiarity with loan officer responsibilities and the loan processing lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in financial software applications for reporting and analysis.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Basic math skills are essential for accurate financial calculations and reporting.
  • Experience in contract management related to automotive sales is highly desirable.
