Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an instructional assistant in a public school system or experience working with groups of children preferred.
  • Basic reading, writing, and computation skills; good written and oral communication skills; basic computer skills preferred.
  • Must have a high school diploma or its recognized equivalent.
  • Must have completed two years of study (48 credit hours) at an institution of higher education, hold an associate's (or higher) degree, or have passed the Parapro Assessment through ETS.
  • Proof of highly qualified certification must be attached to the application.
