S2Technologies is seeking a qualified Special Operations Forces (SOF) Analyst to join our team at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. The ideal candidate will have extensive training and experience in the field of Special Operations Forces analysis. This role involves providing advisory and assistance services to support Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO) readiness evaluations, which are critical for service deployment certification events and prerequisite training before deployment to support a Combatant Command (CCMD). The analyst will be responsible for conducting research on electromagnetic spectrum (EMS) issues, obtaining relevant Department of Defense (DOD) documents, and performing studies to report findings. The role requires the ability to analyze options and develop documentation that assists in effectively carrying out the JCER mission. The candidate will apply scientific methods and techniques in evaluation planning, coordinate specifications related to computer software use cases, and demonstrate operations research and systems analysis. A strong understanding of multi-service and Joint doctrine, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) is essential to address the JCER focus areas. The analyst will conduct tactical, operational, and strategic level research concerning the impact of existing and emerging EMSO threats to joint operations. This includes making recommendations regarding instrumentation and evaluation resources necessary for executing risk reduction and evaluation events, ensuring effective coordination of communications, logistics, data collection, and personnel training. Additionally, the analyst will work with partnering agencies to support data collection and JEMSO operations. The role requires developing detailed mission analysis and integrating resources to determine capabilities that meet mission requirements. A comprehensive understanding of current SOF capabilities across various activities, including direct action, special reconnaissance, counterterrorism, and unconventional warfare, is crucial. The analyst will also need to identify vulnerabilities in the presence of threat EMSO to make informed recommendations to service or joint tactics, weapon schools, or publications based on JCER evaluation findings.
