About the position

CACI has openings for Special Operations Targeting Analysts in Charlottesville, VA. In this position, you will support the Identity Intelligence Analytical Support (I2AS) program at the Army's National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC). As a vital member of the I2AS team, you will provide rotational, deployed, embedded, and reach back support directly to Special Operations Forces (SOF), developing targeting intelligence products while coordinating the support packages provided to meet unit and subordinate element operational requirements. Your role will be crucial in enhancing SOF situational understanding of threat networks and enabling Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Agency (IA), and Intelligence Community (IC) efforts focused on dismantling, disrupting, and defeating those networks. While providing reach back support, you will directly support embedded teammates, answer requests for support from other SOF units, and work closely with a wide variety of SOF units, institutions, and partners. You will collaborate with other team members to identify capabilities and vulnerabilities of targeted enemy organizations, identify trends, patterns, and key nodes, and highlight their relationships to the targeted enemy networks. A 6-month rotational deployment is required, during which you will embed with SOF to assist operational and tactical commanders, their staffs, and subordinate units with fusing operations and intelligence information to enhance their effectiveness against threat networks. You will identify and analyze problems and generate recommended solutions based on your experience working with elements of the DoD, interagency, and international partners.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Junior level: 2 years of related experience and a degree, or 6 years without a degree.
  • Mid level: 6 years of related experience and a degree, or 10 years without a degree.
  • Senior level: 10 years of related experience and a degree, or 14 years without a degree.
  • Understanding of intelligence requirements for both lethal and non-lethal targeting.
  • Experience in network analysis, pattern analysis, geospatial analysis, link analysis, and social network analysis.
  • Foundational understanding of targeting tradecraft, including trend and pattern analysis and geospatial analysis.
  • Experience providing direct analytical and targeting support to deployed SOF elements.
  • Ability to participate in analytical debate and accept constructive criticism.
  • Ability to meet COCOM pre-deployment requirements and deploy to OCONUS locations for a minimum of 6 months.
