About the position

The Special Project Manager for Business Operations at Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services is responsible for leading and managing projects that align with the organization's strategic plan, enhance operational efficiency, and promote a collaborative team culture. This hybrid role requires strong project management skills, the ability to work with cross-functional teams, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement agency or leadership-driven initiatives and projects.
  • Lead collaborative initiatives, managing resources, timelines, and cross-functional teams.
  • Deliver measurable results and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Work closely with clinical and non-clinical teams to align project objectives with organizational strategies.
  • Maintain proactive communication with all stakeholders to ensure high levels of engagement and coordination.
  • Create and maintain documentation that establishes seamless and efficient operational procedures, ensuring compliance with agency standards.
  • Regularly report program metrics and status to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Help identify and implement opportunities for improvements in process, efficiency, or operational best practices to enhance business effectiveness and overall performance of agency.
  • Support Chief of Staff and leadership in development and execution of Board meetings and initiatives.
  • Address and resolve emergent organizational challenges by applying dependable project management and proactive communication.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Administration or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in project management, management consulting, or financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
  • Proven program management experience, ideally within healthcare or a regulated industry.
  • Knowledge of and compliance with Agency policies and procedures, HIPAA, DMH, SAPC and DHS policies and documentation guidelines.
  • Demonstrate very effective oral and written communications skills.
  • Efficiently use personal computer applications including word processing, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentation software, and project management tools.
  • Demonstrate skill in organizing, tracking, and prioritizing multiple complex tasks and projects.
  • Have project management skills and experience, including working with teams to identify needs and develop processes to address those needs.
  • Current California driver's license and a driving record acceptable to the Agency's insurance carrier.
