About the position

The ELRC Special Projects Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting various initiatives within the Early Learning Resource Center (ELRC) by managing cross-functional projects that involve Family Services, Provider Services, and Quality Services. This position is responsible for overseeing specific programs, coordinating activities, and ensuring effective communication and reporting across teams. The coordinator will also handle help desk functions and contribute to the development of protocols to streamline processes and improve service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Attend Infant Toddler Contracted Slots meetings and report updates to the ELRC Leadership Team.
  • Implement internal monthly invoicing ITCS protocol to ensure timely provider payment and corresponding documentation.
  • Coordinate ITCS enrollment activities with Family Services and Provider Teams.
  • Complete ELRC Orientation for new Providers, including review of ELRC Provider Agreement and functions/services of each ELRC team.
  • Support the ELRC Leadership Team in preparing and implementing protocol for summer camp and school year transfer requests.
  • Support the ELRC Leadership Team in developing and implementing protocol for registration fees to collect Provider data efficiently.
  • Regularly check PELICAN Provider alerts and direct to appropriate ELRC Leadership.
  • Provide training on protocol for ELRC teams to reduce administrative burden and enhance client engagement.
  • Perform Provider Tier 2 PELICAN Help Desk Services as directed by OCDEL.
  • Complete ongoing required and growth professional development to remain current on ELRC policies and procedures.
  • Develop reports as necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, early childhood education, social work, public administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Child Care Works program administration or related programs.
  • 5+ years of experience in program oversight, including large-scale project management activities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in welfare, early childhood, or subsidized services systems.
