About the position
The Special Projects Foreman is responsible for leading and directing field personnel in executing work while ensuring safety, productivity, and compliance with company standards. This role is integral to driving CCI's Mission, Vision, and Values, focusing on quality-driven and cost-effective services in construction, maintenance, industrial cleaning, power generation, and transportation for resource development companies.
Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe work environment.
- Demonstrate proficient working knowledge of crane operations, excavation techniques, welding, insulation, tank cleaning, and permitting processes.
- Lead by example while complying with all CCI Industrial Services guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Supervise field personnel efficiently and safely, maintaining conformance to the awarded scope of work.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with the Superintendent and management to overcome issues and challenges.
- Attend site visits and job walk-downs on behalf of CCI Industrial Services.
- Draft technical narratives and sequence work tasks for project execution plans.
- Lead job preparation, ensuring all materials and equipment are ready for use and mobilized efficiently.
- Execute tasks consistent with approved plans, schedules, and scope of work.
- Promote and participate in safety programs and lead safety discussions.
- Manage Hazardous Waste and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Obtain a 24-hour HAZWOPER certification and participate on the company Spill Response Team.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- 10 years of oilfield experience related to heavy equipment operations, mechanical and safety is required.
- Previous supervisory experience is required.
- NSTC certification is required.
- A valid driver's license is required.
Nice-to-haves
- STS Training Certification is preferred.
- OSHA 30 training is preferred.
