About The Position

The Special Response Officer at GardaWorld Security Services is responsible for providing security services at various locations, ensuring the safety of people and assets. This role involves customer service, area surveillance, and rapid response in critical situations, with a focus on flexibility and adaptability to different assignments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of security experience required.
• Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record (MVR).
• Ability to pass an extensive screening process.
• State security license and completion of 32-hour BSIS security training.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service as a top priority.
• Observe and survey the assigned area, reporting on activities.
• Conduct periodic area patrols and perimeter checks.
• Answer phone calls and greet guests/employees.
• Staff new accounts until a permanent Security Officer is hired.
• Provide security for short-term special events.
• Fill in for officers during vacations, sick leave, or no-shows.
• Provide rapid response in critical situations.
• Read and write detailed reports on activities and incidents.
• Enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards.
