About the position

The Special Security Representative (SSR) at DCS Corp plays a crucial role in supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center/PEO Digital Directorate. This position is responsible for managing and safeguarding classified information, ensuring compliance with security protocols, and assisting in the overall physical security of the facility. The SSR will work closely with various security programs and directives to maintain the integrity of sensitive information and contribute to the mission of the United States Air Force.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Electronic Security Access Control System in accordance with 552 ACW/SSO guidance and SCI SOP.
  • Ensure proper accounting, control, transportation, packaging, and safeguarding of classified information.
  • Oversee the destruction of classified information by authorized means.
  • Maintain current visitor logbooks, SCI forms, and personnel entry authorized entry lists.
  • Disseminate SCI and SAP information only to authorized personnel with a need-to-know.
  • Assist in investigating SCI security infractions and report findings to the 552 ACW SSO.
  • Certify and receive CSB SCI visitors, ensuring appropriate clearances/accesses.
  • Monitor DISS to ensure all personnel have appropriate clearances/access.
  • Assist in providing overall physical security and compliance with physical security standards.
  • Conduct annual self-inspection of the physical security program.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of the anti-terrorism program tailored to local conditions and threats.
  • Participate in the installation's anti-terrorism program and implement local RAM's per the published ATO Plan.
  • Perform aspects of information security and report all security incidents.
  • Approve and track hand-carrying of classified materials between SCIFs.
  • Coordinate with 72 SFS/S5 and provide rosters of individuals responsible for facility security.
  • Oversee SCIF IDS operation and testing, conducting penetration exercises and alarm tests.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret Clearance is required.
  • High School Diploma or GED with at least 13 years of experience in the respective professional discipline, 5 of which must be in the DoD, or a Bachelor's degree from an accredited program with at least 5 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline, 3 of which must be in the DoD.
