The Specialist 2 in Talent Acquisition/Onboarding at Tampa General Hospital plays a crucial role in supporting the administrative and onboarding tasks for the People and Talent Acquisition Teams. This position operates under the supervision of the Manager of Talent Acquisition and focuses on assisting Talent Acquisition Consultants with full cycle recruitment needs. The Specialist will manage workforce-approved requests for each recruiter on their team, ensuring that new positions are posted in alignment with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Compliance with approval standards based on current company guidelines is essential, and the Specialist will identify the correct job descriptions for postings. In addition to managing job postings, the Specialist is responsible for assigning position numbers for all newly approved positions and ensuring that the correct position number is identified for replacement requests. The role also involves posting new requisitions into the Taleo recruitment platform and assisting with travel arrangements for senior-level candidates participating in on-site interviews, which includes managing airfare, hotel accommodations, and candidate reimbursement requests for meals and transportation. Once an offer is accepted, the Specialist will create new hire paperwork for each recruiter to initiate the onboarding process and meet the requirements for Shared Services. They will initiate and monitor all background checks through the vendor portal in preparation for new hire orientation. The Specialist will also monitor various platforms, including Taleo, Agility, and Law Logix, to ensure that all new hire documents are received in a timely manner to meet clearance processes and associated deadlines. Additionally, the Specialist will leverage various Talent Acquisition platforms for reporting and data analysis, including Indeed, LinkedIn, and social media. Administrative support for Talent Acquisition events, such as hiring events and school pipeline partnerships, is also part of the role, along with involvement in special projects as needed.
