About the position

The Specialist, AACU Digital Marketing position at American Airlines Credit Union is a pivotal role within the Marketing team, focusing on the development and execution of digital marketing strategies that align with the organization's goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, where the selected candidate will be responsible for crafting year-long digital marketing strategies that not only support business objectives but also enhance the advocacy of the American Airlines Credit Union brand. The role requires a blend of creativity and analytical skills to develop and deploy both long-term digital marketing campaigns and short-term advertising techniques. In this role, you will collaborate with various internal and external teams to create best-in-class promotional, lifecycle, and transactional digital marketing experiences. This includes working closely with compliance and advertising agencies to ensure that all digital campaign disclosures and deliverables meet regulatory standards. You will also coordinate multi-channel marketing and advertising projects, developing timelines to ensure that digital marketing campaigns are implemented on time and effectively. The Specialist will manage, schedule, design, develop, and deploy advertising and member communications across multiple digital marketing channels. Additionally, you will provide backup and support for the day-to-day deployment of marketing digital systems, assisting with content strategy and the growth of various programs. The role also emphasizes the importance of security and confidentiality, requiring the selected candidate to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act. Responsibilities

  • Develop year-long digital marketing strategies that support business goals.
  • Deploy long-term digital marketing campaigns and short-term advertising techniques.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to produce promotional, lifecycle, and transactional digital marketing experiences.
  • Work with compliance and advertising agencies to develop digital campaign disclosures and deliverables.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, or related area, or equivalent work experience (preferred).
  • Digital Marketing training and certifications (preferred).
  • Above average proficiency in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
  • Working knowledge of Adobe suite products, including Illustrator, Photoshop, XD, and Acrobat DC.
  • Experience in the financial industry (helpful).
  • Strong project management experience.
  • Experience with content management systems, search engine optimization, digital lead generation, and email marketing (helpful).
  • Knowledge of effective digital marketing principles and practices.
  • Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive business relationships across departments.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to adjust work schedule and work additional hours as necessary.
