The Specialist, Contracts position at L3Harris Technologies involves managing a variety of government contracts, including proposal preparation, negotiation, and administration. Responsibilities

  • Preparing, negotiating, and administering a large volume of contracts for various customers.
  • Ensuring contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Reviewing RFQs and preparing quotes, including change proposals.
  • Performing risk assessments of quotes and contract terms, and formulating strategies to minimize risks.
  • Working with customers, management, and program teams to resolve issues and ensure successful contract execution.
  • Serving as the point of contact for customers during all phases of a program.
  • Generating and maintaining contract documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience, or 8 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Knowledge of FAR and DFARS regulations.
  • Functional knowledge of ERP systems for input and report generation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with ITAR regulations.
  • Experience in reviewing RFQs, preparing quotes, and negotiating DoD and Commercial contracts.
  • Ability to effectively interface with all levels of company management and government organizations.
  • Experience in risk assessment of quotes and contract terms.
