About the position

The Customer Fleet Specialist is responsible for developing, managing, and implementing aftermarket marketing strategies through Customer Value Agreements (CVAs). This role focuses on ensuring customers receive the full benefits of CVAs by performing equipment inspections, product updates, and maintaining customer records. The position requires a high level of discretion and integrity while interacting with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor Customer Fleets enrolled in CVAs to ensure services are performed as needed.
  • Communicate information to PM Dispatch for proper service scheduling.
  • Perform service letters as needed on customer equipment.
  • Act as the first point of contact for installing and maintaining Product Link devices.
  • Conduct equipment inspections using CAT inspect.
  • Communicate with customers regarding scheduling and inspection findings.
  • Perform basic Preventive Maintenance services on customer equipment.
  • Coordinate Service Letter completion with General Service and Technical Communicators.
  • Perform remote flashing and troubleshooting on capable equipment.
  • Ensure dealer ERP is maintained and updated based on PSE closer reasons related to customer and equipment population.
  • Attend trainings both locally and at CAT facilities as needed and required.
  • Recommend ideas to improve departmental operating procedures or business practices.
  • Project a positive image by interacting cooperatively with employees, customers, and management.
  • Create and maintain good communications and relationships with other departments, branches, employees, outside vendors, and customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a related field.
  • Maintain a valid motor vehicle operators' license.
  • Ability to travel to branches or other locations as required.
  • Overnight stays may be required to complete position responsibilities.
  • High degree of discretion in handling confidential/sensitive information.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Good working knowledge of computers, spreadsheets, and word processing programs.
  • Highly self-directed and able to work independently or in a team environment with rapidly changing priorities.
