About the position

The Digital Marketing Specialist will play a crucial role in developing and implementing digital marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and drive engagement for Performance Food Group. This position requires a creative individual with expertise in digital marketing, graphic design, and photography, specifically tailored to the restaurant and foodservice industry. The specialist will be responsible for creating compelling content, managing social media platforms, and training clients on digital marketing best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies to increase brand visibility and drive traffic to internal and external websites.
  • Develop engaging content for various digital platforms, including websites, social media, Google, and email marketing campaigns.
  • Capture high-quality images and video that showcase restaurant offerings, interiors, and customer experiences.
  • Train restaurants and foodservice establishments on digital marketing skills and trends.
  • Manage and grow the company's social media presence across platforms, e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, Google, and internal platforms.
  • Collaborate with clients on basic web design and layout improvements, ensuring a seamless user experience and brand consistency online.
  • Create and monitor email marketing campaigns, segmenting audiences to maximize engagement and conversion rates.
  • Analyze performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics; provide reports and insights to optimize future campaigns.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive marketing strategies.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and technology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field.
  • 1 year experience in Digital Marketing or related role.
  • 6 months - 1 year experience in digital marketing tools e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe suite, Canva, Office 365 and social media platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for marketing and technology.
