About the position

The Specialist Hiring Operations position at Tyson Foods is responsible for supporting post-offer onboarding activities, ensuring compliance with EEO regulations, and managing employee documentation. The role involves assisting with the onboarding checklist, verifying documentation, and conducting plant tours, all while adhering to employment authorization guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, review, upload policies, procedures, standards, templates and related KPIs.
  • Assist and support with I-9 initiation, involuntary servitude interview, document verification, policy review & acceptance, and schedule orientation date.
  • Support in the rescheduled new hire start dates or no-show situations.
  • Administer new hire paperwork to ensure completion/uploading of all required documents.
  • Conduct virtual and onsite plant tours.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years relevant work experience providing HR administrative support preferred.
  • Standard computer skills - Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization; bi-lingual is a plus.
  • Attention to detail in composing, typing, proofing, and analyzing materials; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
