About the position

The Specialist Hiring Operations role at Tyson Foods, Inc. is focused on supporting post-offer onboarding activities at the Dakota City Plant. This position involves managing employee documentation, ensuring compliance with EEO regulations, and facilitating the onboarding process for new hires. The specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate records and assisting with various administrative tasks related to hiring and onboarding.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, review, upload policies, procedures, standards, templates and related KPIs.
  • Assist and support with I-9 initiation, involuntary servitude interview, document verification, policy review & acceptance, and schedule orientation date.
  • Support in the rescheduled new hire start dates or no-show situations.
  • Administer new hire paperwork to ensure completion/uploading of all required documents.
  • Conduct virtual and onsite plant tours.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years relevant work experience providing HR administrative support preferred.
  • Standard computer skills - Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Attention to detail in typing, proofing, and analyzing materials.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple competing tasks and demands.
  • Must maintain confidentiality.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bi-lingual is a plus.
