About the position

The Human Resources Staffing Specialist (Non-exempt) is responsible for managing administrative tasks related to temporary staffing contracts and billing within an automotive manufacturing environment. This role supports various employment functions in the HR department, ensuring compliance with staffing agency contracts and facilitating recruitment processes.

Responsibilities

  • Review and maintain contracts with temporary staffing agencies to ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate with the Legal & Compliance department on contract changes, updates, and renewals.
  • Process and reconcile temporary staffing agency invoices and resolve billing disparities.
  • Perform routine audits to ensure accuracy of staffing agency invoices.
  • Generate and track approvals for employment-related projects and processes.
  • Support external Maintenance recruiting and staffing, including hiring events and internship programs.
  • Assist with sourcing, scheduling, and proctoring assessments and questionnaires.
  • Prepare and maintain daily/weekly reports of specified deadlines and ad hoc reports.
  • Administer and comply with all Business Management System (BMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Safety Management System (SMS) requirements.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or 2-year Technical degree preferred.
  • 2 - 4 years of job-related experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
