Responsibilities

  • Maintain and monitor HR email inbox.
  • Assist with general employee inquiries.
  • Conduct new employee orientation and process new hire paperwork.
  • Assist with maintaining employee records and filing systems.
  • Maintain and update documents on the company intranet.
  • Submit pre-employment background checks and drug screens.
  • Attend career fairs and assist with organizing materials.
  • Assist with payroll audits and various HR projects.
  • Organize community outreach and employee events.
  • Prepare outgoing mail and correspondence.
  • Assist with HR phone screens and interviews.
  • Monitor and respond to unemployment claims.
  • Help maintain OSHA compliance.
  • Process leave of absence requests and disability paperwork.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
  • 3-6 years of administrative support and human resources experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to identify process improvements.
