About the position

The Human Resources Specialist at IBTCI plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional HR customer service and supporting both U.S. and international HR operations. This position involves coordinating employment agreements, managing onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring HR compliance, and providing performance management support. The specialist will be a key point of contact for HR-related inquiries, contributing to a positive experience for team members in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent HR customer service to all stakeholders; proactive solution provider.
  • Coordinate and implement all aspects of US, international and local employment agreements; execute employment agreements and amendments; communicate changes to stakeholders and to Payroll.
  • Coordinate and execute onboarding and offboarding of Local Staff.
  • Prepare employment closeout for local employees including the preparation of separation letters, certificates of service, etc.
  • Coordinate the Training and Development Program.
  • Develop and maintain training for the company.
  • Inform employees on their progress, track outcomes and maintain records.
  • Market training opportunities.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with all company policies and state/federal regulations.
  • Assist with the performance management program; coordinate the probationary performance review for local staff.
  • Maintain all personnel files; ensure documentation is in compliance with applicable labor laws and company policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of professional work experience.
  • At least one year in the Human Resources Department.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Proven ability to be well-organized, have attention to detail and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Flexibility and adaptability required.
  • Full proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
  • Oral and written fluency in English required, with fluency in an additional language such as Arabic is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business administration or related field. Master's degree is highly preferred.

  • Previous global travel experience.
  • Prior work experience in International Development a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the compliance needs of US regulatory agencies.

  • Knowledge of diverse cultures and cultural sensitivity.
