About the position

The Marketing Design Specialist at Nordson MEDICAL is responsible for planning and executing a variety of graphic design, web design, motion design, and marketing projects aimed at both internal and external audiences. This role involves collaborating with a team and working independently to create effective communications for product branding, commercial launches, events, and ongoing marketing campaigns across multiple medical markets and business units.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, design, and create marketing materials including website interfaces, digital advertising, collateral literature, print advertising, and video content.
  • Develop marketing campaigns to generate new leads and opportunities for the sales organization.
  • Support existing marketing programs such as web-based campaigns, search engine analytics, and list management.
  • Create external and internal email newsletters, including writing, image creation, and custom coding.
  • Manage and support various internal communications and merchandising initiatives locally and globally.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of professional web and print design experience, preferably in healthcare.
  • Minimum Associate's Degree in Visual Communications; Bachelor's Degree preferred in Graphic Design/Visual Communications.
  • Portfolio demonstrating advanced conceptual, graphic design, illustration, and videography skills.
  • Thorough understanding of search engine ad placement and campaign management.
  • Strong web publishing skills in CSS, HTML, ASPX, and basic web script languages.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to read and adapt to market trends and conditions.
  • Ability to develop and implement unique and effective marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to manage and maintain complex asset libraries.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Maxon's Cinema 4D or similar advanced 3D applications.
  • Flexibility and objectivity about design work.
  • Willingness to collaborate with other departments and accept constructive feedback.
