About the position

The HR Generalist role at Ahold Delhaize Distribution & Transportation serves as a strategic partner to the campus, ensuring that HR strategies align with business objectives. The position focuses on providing comprehensive HR support, enhancing organizational capabilities, and fostering a culture of engagement and diversity within the workforce.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the HR Business Partner to implement a uniform HR Business Partner model.
• Stay informed of industry best practices and key trends.
• Assist business functional areas in identifying and building organizational capabilities.
• Review business performance targets and their talent implications with leaders.
• Counsel business partners on company policies, legal considerations, and compliance regulations.
• Provide insights to increase associate engagement and create a positive culture.
• Promote diversity and inclusion in staffing and associate relations.
• Support internal communications and change management efforts.
• Lead talent pipeline forecasting and planning in line with business strategy.
• Utilize strategic workforce plans to drive recruitment initiatives.
• Plan and support college recruitment programs.
• Drive diversity in talent acquisition for all positions.
• Engage actively with associates to foster a performance-driven culture.
• Support development activities and ensure robust Individual Development Plans (IDPs) are in place.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years experience in HR, business administration or related field.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications required.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Presentation skills.
