About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist II will collaborate with the University Relations team to enhance recruitment efforts for intern and co-op programs, ensuring alignment with business needs. This role emphasizes building partnerships, effective communication, and optimizing the recruitment process to attract top talent.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full cycle of recruitment including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offers to candidates for all university relations openings.
  • Consult with hiring managers to understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for the specified position(s).
  • Identify the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting candidates, including posting job ads on various platforms.
  • Review resumes, cover letters, and job applications; arrange interviews and accommodations for applicants as needed.
  • Conduct interviews and evaluate candidates' skills, knowledge, and experience; follow up with hiring managers post-interview.
  • Act as a liaison between candidates and the company throughout the interview process.
  • Manage and update systems/spreadsheets for all assigned open requisitions.
  • Evaluate process improvement efforts to enhance customer service through collaboration and communication.
  • Create and maintain partnerships with colleges and universities, including involvement in programs, clubs, and events.
  • Pull, analyze, and report data findings regarding recruiting performance and needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years related experience
  • Effective communication skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task
  • Understanding of how to recruit both active and passive candidates for entry-level opportunities.
