The Talent Acquisition Specialist II at Southwire Company, LLC will play a crucial role in partnering with the Talent Acquisition Manager to deliver exceptional customer service and effective recruiting strategies across various Southwire locations. This position is centered on enhancing communication, candidate sourcing, screening, and overall recruitment process efficiency. The Specialist will oversee the entire recruitment cycle, which includes sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending offers to candidates for both hourly and salaried positions. Compliance with equal employment opportunity (EEO) laws and regulations is paramount, ensuring that all recruitment practices align with legal standards. In this role, the Specialist will consult closely with hiring managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the requirements, duties, and qualifications necessary for each position. They will identify the most effective recruitment methods, which may include posting job advertisements on the company’s website, social media platforms, and relevant job boards, as well as collaborating with third-party recruitment sources when necessary. The Specialist will evaluate resumes, cover letters, and job applications, and will be responsible for arranging interviews, travel, and accommodations for candidates as needed. Conducting interviews and assessing candidates' skills, knowledge, and experience will be a key responsibility. The Specialist will act as a liaison between candidates and the company throughout the interview process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for all parties involved. Additionally, they will manage and update systems and spreadsheets for all open requisitions, evaluate process improvement efforts, and analyze data related to recruiting performance and geographic needs. This role is essential in fostering collaboration and communication to enhance customer service for all stakeholders involved in the recruitment process.
