About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist II at Southwire Company will work closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager to deliver exceptional recruiting services across various locations. This role emphasizes effective communication, candidate sourcing, and recruitment process efficiency, ensuring alignment with the company's hiring needs and compliance with employment laws.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full cycle of recruitment including sourcing, screening, interviewing, testing (if applicable), and offers to candidates for both hourly and salary positions.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations.
  • Consult with hiring managers to understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for the specified position(s).
  • Identify the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting candidates.
  • Post job ads on the company's website, social media channels, and relevant job boards.
  • Partner with 3rd party recruitment sources as needed.
  • Evaluate resumes, cover letters, and job applications.
  • Arrange interviews, travel, and/or accommodations for applicants when needed.
  • Conduct interviews and evaluate the candidates' skills, knowledge, and experience.
  • Follow up with hiring managers and business partners after the interview process to determine whether a placement can be made.
  • Act as a liaison between the candidate and the company during the interview process.
  • Manage and update systems/spreadsheets for all assigned open requisitions.
  • Evaluate process improvement efforts to increase customer service to all stakeholders through collaboration and communication.
  • Pull, analyze, and report data findings regarding recruiting performance, geographic data, and needs of each role as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years related experience
  • Effective communication skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task
  • Ability and understanding of how to recruit both active and passive candidates.
