About the position

The Specialist - Technology Support Services role is a remote position focused on providing technical support and advisory services for Wesco Global Solutions. This position serves as the first tier of support for various technologies, working closely with sales teams across multiple sectors to deliver effective solutions that meet customer needs. The role involves evaluating project opportunities, collaborating with senior specialists, and supporting global training initiatives to maximize sales potential.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver credibility and value to customers by educating them on technology solutions across various markets.
  • Collaborate with Sales and key suppliers to develop effective solutions that meet customer expectations.
  • Evaluate project opportunities and determine resource requirements, escalating complex projects as necessary.
  • Engage with sales opportunities and support requests globally, leveraging specialists in various technologies.
  • Support the Global Training Program as both a trainer and participant, helping sales teams position Supply Chain Solutions.

Requirements

  • Associates' Degree or College Diploma, or equivalent technical experience required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical or engineering discipline preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in a technical field related to design, implementation, or commissioning.
  • Customer-centric mindset with strong technical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • BICSI RCDD or equivalent industry certification.
