About the position
The Lead Generation Specialist at CECO is responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities within assigned markets. This role involves conducting B2B cold calling and email campaigns, maintaining market information, and collaborating with the Outside Sales Representative to achieve sales targets. The position emphasizes a problem-solving and value-selling approach, requiring a thorough understanding of CECO's products and services.
Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and generate new business opportunities.
- Conduct B2B cold calling and email campaigns to generate leads.
- Continuously refine strategies based on feedback and results.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of products and services.
- Qualify leads and gather essential information using CRM systems.
- Document and track leads in CRM, ensuring timely follow-ups.
- Work closely with Outside Sales Representative to plan client visits.
- Follow stated policies and procedures.
- Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge.
- Maintain a positive approach towards visitors, customers, and employees.
- Uphold confidentiality in all matters involving Custom Fabricating & Supplies.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years in general sales.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Nice-to-haves
- BS degree from accredited college or equal experience preferred.
- Lead calling generation experience preferred.
- CRM experience preferred.
