About the position

The International Operations Specialist is responsible for providing global medical and travel assistance services through effective case management. This role involves processing client requests for medical and security assistance, ensuring compliance with company policies, and maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Receives, processes, coordinates, and documents all incoming requests for medical, travel, and security assistance from clients.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality of all information encountered during job performance.
  • Actions incoming faxes, emails, and correspondence related to active and/or closed cases.
  • Maintains open communication channels with team members, clients, and other employees during case management.
  • Schedules and confirms arrangements for customers, ensuring costs are verified and clients are informed of all details.
  • Answers incoming calls for new and existing cases, establishing customer needs through questioning.
  • Demonstrates a professional attitude when servicing customers and working with fellow associates.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
  • Minimum one year of demonstrated effective customer service or response center experience.
  • Good knowledge of Commercial/Business Aviation and Maritime clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and write effectively in English; second language proficiency preferred.
  • Demonstrated MS Outlook, Word, and Excel competency.

  • Experience working in a call center environment.
  • Cultural sensitivity and awareness in a multi-lingual, multi-cultural environment.
