About the position

The Internal Communications Specialist role at Deloitte's Audit & Assurance Strategy Execution Team (ASET) focuses on developing and executing effective internal communication strategies that enhance employee engagement and support organizational transformation. This position requires a blend of creativity, project management skills, and strategic thinking to deliver impactful communication and change management results aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with ASET team members and internal stakeholders to design, develop, and implement communications plans and content.
• Develop change management and communications plans that assess business readiness and align stakeholder groups.
• Write and edit internal communications and change management deliverables in support of A&A strategic priorities.
• Employ project management skills to initiate, plan, execute, and close projects effectively.
• Develop relationships with communications and change management team members to solve problems and provide counsel.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Journalism, or related field.
• 1+ year of experience in communications or a related area, including internships or apprenticeships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to travel up to 20% based on work requirements.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience developing C-suite communications.
• Strong writing and editing skills in internal communications, public relations, marketing, or journalism.
• Basic understanding of change management frameworks and tactics.
• Experience with website design and content management systems.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and video editing software, including Camtasia.
