About the position

The Specialist, Marketing Data Analytics at ASU Enterprise Partners is responsible for analyzing paid media campaign performance and providing optimization recommendations. This role requires a deep understanding of ad platforms and measurement tools, as well as the ability to create compelling insights through data visualization. The specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage datasets for optimizing campaign performance and will stay informed on industry trends to identify opportunities and challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze daily performance of paid media campaigns and provide optimization recommendations.
  • Assist in quality assurance of campaign components such as ad copy and creative.
  • Utilize Google Analytics and other measurement tools to understand user behavior and multi-channel attribution.
  • Build and maintain reports to communicate historical, current, and predictive performance insights.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to generate actionable insights from paid media performance data.
  • Support analytics needs such as A/B testing strategy and customer insights analysis.
  • Provide ideas for optimization and testing to improve conversion rates and reduce CPA.
  • Work with agency partners to ensure live campaigns align with approved structures.
  • Monitor performance thresholds and trigger notifications for performance drifts.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and consumer behaviors to identify opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business Data Analytics.
  • Three years of experience in a Data Analyst role, preferably in digital marketing analytics or business analytics.
  • Strong ability to use Google Analytics (GA4) for understanding user behavior.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Looker Studio or Power BI.
  • Familiarity with SQL and BigQuery is a plus.
  • Experience working with large datasets and understanding data joins.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels, especially paid media.
  • Experience with various attribution models.

  • Previous experience in an advertising agency environment.
  • Experience in multi-tasking and managing complex situations.
