About the position

CHANEL is seeking a Specialist to join the Merchandise Planning Team in New York, NY. This role is crucial for managing the fragrance catalog, focusing on SKU forecasting to enhance the brand's market leadership. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and collaboration, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Support and own the Men's fragrance catalog SKU forecast, ensuring forecast accuracy goals are met.
• Prepare for the monthly forecast validation meeting with marketing, sales, and finance, providing analysis to support decision-making.
• Liaise with Sales & Marketing to ensure forecasts align with company plans and promotional activities.
• Contribute to the yearly budget process by helping build company targets and identifying opportunities and risks.
• Share accountability for achieving service level, inventory targets, and managing excess and obsolete inventory goals.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in merchandise planning or a related field.
• BA/BS Degree preferred, ideally in Supply Chain, Mathematics, or Planning.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization skills.
