About the position

CHANEL is seeking a Specialist to join the Merchandise Planning Team in New York, NY. This role focuses on supporting the fragrance catalog by developing accurate SKU forecasts and collaborating with various cross-functional partners. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data analysis and at least 2 years of experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Support and own Men's fragrance catalog SKU forecast, ensuring forecast accuracy goals are met.
• Prepare for monthly forecast validation meetings with marketing, sales, and finance, providing analysis to support decision-making.
• Liaise with Sales & Marketing to ensure forecasts align with company plans and promotional activities.
• Contribute to the yearly budget process by helping build company targets and identifying opportunities and risks.
• Accountable for achieving service level, inventory targets, and managing excess & obsolete inventory in partnership with supply planners.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in merchandise planning or a related field.
• BA/BS Degree preferred, but not required.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong data visualization skills, including the ability to create tables and charts.
