About the position
The position involves assisting in the overall operations of Ready Mix, focusing on the management of raw materials, coordination of job sites, and handling transactional duties along with special projects. The role emphasizes promoting safety and improving plant operations under the guidance of the Plant Manager.
Responsibilities
- Promoting safety within the assigned territory
- Reporting to the Plant Manager daily, as directed
- Working with Operations, Maintenance, and QC on tablet usage
- Editing and validating Kronos entries
- Reviewing fuel charge out/usage via SCI Fuel System and verifying to SAP
- Assisting the Plant Manager with monthly inventory, researching variances, reviewing GR, and backflush
- Developing a process flow on post and pre-trip DVIR process
- Collaborating with the Plant Manager on plant cleanliness and improvements
- Helping to develop truck improvements
- Working on projects as directed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 1-2 years minimum of field experience
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Microsoft Office experience required
- Self-motivation with a focus on goals
